(no, not the kids... keep reading)So all over the news this week they've been advertising this big trick or treat street thing at the convention center in Sandy. Basically they decorate this big room with 50 plus doors and you go trick or treating to each door, inside, away from the cold weather. They also have crafts and games, how fun does that sound? So we dressed up the kids and went down there. It was $6 per person, but it seemed so worth it!
Okay, so we get there and it's an HOUR line to get in the main trick or treating area. The HOUR ended up being nearly 2 hours. The kids did okay in the line, looking at all the other costumes kept them entertained. So we get in and begin the trick or treating. It was cute and you could tell a lot of work went into it. So what sucked? Well, the 2 hour wait wasn't fun and for all the hype you figure they'd be giving out good candy... nope, it was all the same candy at every door! Yep, they bought in bulk and the kids now have tons of suckers and taffy. Grrrr.
Oh well, at least we got to test out the costumes to make sure everything fits for the big night Tuesday. We'll go to the church and to the trunk or treat thing.
The other pictures are from the pumpkin patch the other day.
