Found this little family walking around my apartments yesterday. We have a little pond there where ducks like to hang out. There were 17 of them but my children and I watched as one had died and a crow was hauling it away. (My boys thought it was cool, Sydney was crying… yeah, it was fun and generated a nice “circle of life” lesson). Anyway, I happened to have my camera with me and my super zoom lens so I could get these shots without being too close. The mom was pretty upset after watching one of her babies be flown off.
