Of course it's just to Utah instead of some exotic island somewhere... but yes, Matt and I are taking our first kid-free road trip! I haven't been away from the kids for more than a few days and that was when I was in the hospital having another kid! I feel okay knowing my mom will be here to watch them, but I still think I will miss them tons.
We're going to look at homes in the area and get our Utah drivers licenses. I'm also registering Sydney for school. No bites on the house yet, so hopefully there will be some action while we are gone.
It's so beautiful outside now, in the 80's. The flowers are all in full bloom and I just had to take some pictures of our garden.
