So we finally found a pre school for Gavin! Woo Hoo!!! All of the neighborhood kids he plays with, except 2, start Kindergarten this year, but Gavin missed the deadline by a month, so he can't go. A lot of the pre schools here are pre school/daycare centers, so the hours were wacky starting at like 6am to 6pm and if you just wanted to come at pre school time you'd have to pay for the daycare as well. So... NO.
So Alisa sent me a few links and there was a pre school that is ONLY a pre school, only 3 and 4 yr olds, no daycare!!! The price is right where we want it and it's Mon, Tues and Thursday which is perfect since on Wed is half day for Sydney's school.
Confused yet?
So we went to the pre school today and Gavin fell in love. He was so excited, met the teacher, saw the desks and toys and can't wait to start.
My next project after I get them all in school is to potty train Bailey. We started, but with all the kids outside playing all the time, coming in to go potty is the last thing he wants to do. Once the neighborhood is in school, it'll be easier.
My sis and I have been going to work out classes at the community center. Tonight we're trying Water Aerobics! People say it doesn't feel like a work out because you are in water and not sweating, but the next day you sure feel it! Matt is going to watch all 5 kids. LOL.
That's the update for now. Sydney starts school on the 21st, Preston starts Kinder on the 30th and Gavin starts preschool on Sept. 5th. I'll be babysitting Preston, my sister's kid, before and after school to help her out a bit. The once blank calendar is now filled with open house schedules, school start dates and all kinds of activities! We're officially busy!
